Mission Statement
At the Fairhaven Community Association, our mission is to foster a vibrant, connected, and supportive neighborhood where residents come together to take care of the community, celebrate life, share experiences, and build lasting relationships.
From the early days, our community has grown through strong connections and the welcoming spirit of our neighbors. Like the tree, we symbolize strength, stability, and resilience. Like the sun, we bring energy, positivity, and illumination. Like the butterfly, we embrace transformation, hope, and new beginnings.
We celebrate the diversity of our community, where different personalities—assertive leaders, analytical thinkers, enthusiastic learners, and empathetic collaborators—work together in harmony.
Our association brings the community together through engaging events and activities: annual park clean up, U5 and U9 soccer, fitness classes, community parties, art nights, open gym nights, volleyball, and more. Through these gatherings, we promote community involvement, connection, and spirit, creating a neighborhood where everyone can live, learn, and work together.

In 1977 I built the home we live in, on Peeling Ave. There where no homes built at that time West of Copper Cres. There were no streets or side walks done at Peeling Ave yet. That all came later. We have had wonderful neighbours all along since 1977, although some have sold and moved away, we got new good neighbours.
The tree symbolizes, strength, stability and resilience. The spirit of our community.
The sun is a powerful symbol for life, energy, positivity and illumination; what our community tries to be.
The Butterfly symbolizes- transformation, hope, new beginnings, rebirth and the ability to overcome challenges.
The four different personality persons celebrating our Fairhaven Community symbolize:
Red often represents assertiveness, drive, and leadership.
Blue is associated with analytical thinking and detail- orientedness.
Yellow is linked to outgoingness, enthusiasm, and a love of learning.
Green can signify empathy, cooperation, and a desire for harmony.
